On April 1, 2026, SIMEX Center, in collaboration with SHD Academy, organized a field trip to Cat Lai Port for entry-level Logistics students, marking the second year of their strategic training partnership aimed at the German and European markets.
At the opening session, PhD Candidate Lê Sài Gòn emphasized the importance of independence and four key qualities required in the European workplace: effort, diligence, a positive attitude, and respect for local culture. The training program focuses on fundamental logistics knowledge, cross-cultural working skills, and operational standards aligned with the German market.
During the site visit at Cat Lai Port, students were equipped with safety gear and directly toured key areas such as the CFS warehouse, container yard, customs inspection zone, and terminal. Import-export processes and warehouse operations were presented in a practical manner, helping students gain a clear understanding of real-world logistics operations.
Beyond observation, the program also enabled students to develop analytical thinking, observation skills, and problem-solving abilities—critical competencies for job interviews and working in international companies.
The collaboration between SIMEX and SHD contributes to developing a high-quality logistics workforce, meeting the growing demand in Germany and across Europe.
