On September 12, SIMEX participated in the Mock-Interview & Job Fair 2025 hosted by the University of Economics and Finance (UEF). This annual event gathers more than 75 companies from diverse industries, offering students valuable opportunities to practice interview skills and engage directly with employers.
SIMEX – Bringing Real Career Opportunities to UEF Students
As a training and consulting center specializing in import–export and logistics, SIMEX joined the fair with the goal of identifying potential candidates while also giving students the chance to experience real-world recruitment processes. At the SIMEX booth, many students confidently asked questions, exchanged ideas, and took part in mock interviews.
We were impressed with how well-prepared the UEF students were—from their CVs and portfolios to their professional demeanor throughout the interview sessions. This is a positive signal showing that UEF students not only possess strong academic knowledge but also solid soft skills—qualities that employers always seek.
Mock Interviews – Real Experiences
In the lively atmosphere of the fair, many students experiencing an interview with an employer for the first time expressed their excitement. They shared that the process helped them “reflect on themselves,” recognize strengths to build upon, and identify skills that need further improvement.
SIMEX values the confidence, proactiveness, and eagerness to learn shown by these students. Particularly, many demonstrated flexible problem-solving skills and prior research about the company—factors that left a very positive impression on our HR team.
