After delivering a total of 25 training hours, SIMEX has officially completed the “Advanced Training Program on Customs Declaration and Road Transport” for the staff of GEODIS Vietnam Co., Ltd.
The program was specially designed to reflect GEODIS’s operational needs in logistics, freight forwarding, and customs declaration, enabling participants to master end-to-end procedures, enhance operational capability, and improve service quality for clients.

Training Content
The program consisted of 13 structured sessions, closely aligned with GEODIS’s practical workflow:

Customs procedures for all import–export types – legal regulations, declarant obligations, documentation, supervision, and electronic processes.

HS Code & Customs Valuation – classification principles, real case handling, and GATT-based valuation consultation.

Import–Export Taxes – tax categories, exemptions, reductions, refunds, tax calculation, and advisory practices.

Regulatory management for import–export goods – specialized management lists and national single-window procedures.

Documentation for import shipments – Invoice, Packing List, B/L, Fumigation, Phytosanitary, Insurance, permits, and more.

VNACCS declaration practice – FCL, LCL, air cargo, bonded procedures, local import, and non-commercial shipments.

Rules of Origin & C/O – declarations, application procedures, and hands-on practice on ECOVCCI and ECOSYS for real shipments.

Cargo handling at ports and airports – procedures at Cat Lai Port, ICDs, and Tan Son Nhat Airport; additional charges and case handling.

Road transport operations – roles, vehicle types, regulations, road waybill, dispatching, cost control, safety & risk management.

Case studies & integrated practice – transport planning, cost calculation, and real-world logistics problem-solving.
Each session combined theory, regulatory interpretation, and hands-on work with actual corporate documents—ensuring participants could “perform immediately, accurately, and in full compliance.”
Upon completion, GEODIS participants were able to:

Fully understand and confidently handle complex customs procedures;

Master HS Code classification and customs valuation processes;

Strengthen their knowledge of Vietnam’s regulatory and specialized management requirements;

Competently perform VNACCS declarations and manage clearance scenarios;

Improve capabilities in port/airport cargo handling and road transport coordination;

Enhance cross-functional collaboration and reduce operational risks across the logistics chain.
